About The Position

Responsibilities include implementing IEPs, modifying curriculum, and supporting academic achievement, positive behavior, and social-emotional development. Create a structured, inclusive classroom that promotes engagement and independence. Work collaboratively with general education staff, related service providers, and families to ensure consistent support and successful student outcomes across learning environments.
Requirements
- Bachelorâs degree from an accredited college or university.
- Working knowledge of IDEA regulations and IEP development.
- Valid Georgia teaching certificate with a Special Education endorsement.
- Completion of an approved Special Education teacher preparation program.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary instructional teams.
Responsibilities
- Participate in evaluations, meetings, and IEP development.
- Track student progress and maintain required documentation.
- Support inclusive practices through collaboration with school staff.
- Deliver goal-driven instruction in individual and small-group settings.
