The Processor is responsible for the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of clinical specimens to support laboratory testing and diagnostic services. This role is critical to specimen integrity, turnaround time, and overall laboratory quality. The Processor works collaboratively with laboratory staff to support daily operations in a growing laboratory environment and demonstrates flexibility as workflows and volumes evolve. Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30 pm - 9:00 pm Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision with In-Network & Custom Network discounts 401(K) with discretionary employer match Paid Time Off Free clinical diagnostic laboratory testing performed in house In this role, you will be responsible for: Accurately receive, identify, and process specimens in accordance with test requirements and laboratory procedures, including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing specimens for transport or testing. Enter specimen and patient data accurately and efficiently into laboratory information systems and other required computer applications. Maintain specimen integrity by adhering to established handling, storage, and processing protocols. Complete and maintain required documentation and logs, including temperature logs, maintenance logs, and other quality or compliance records. Perform routine non-technical duties including inventory management, stocking supplies, sanitizing work areas, filing, answering phones, and utilizing email as appropriate. Read, understand, and comply with all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Participate in required training and ongoing competency assessments to maintain proficiency in assigned duties. Address client or patient-related issues in a prompt, respectful, and professional manner, escalating concerns as appropriate. Maintain strong working relationships with laboratory team members to promote effective communication, collaboration, and workflow efficiency. Demonstrates a consistently professional, respectful, and constructive attitude in all interactions. Fosters a positive, team-oriented work environment by building trust, encouraging collaboration, and communicating effectively with team members, clients, and leadership. Refrain from gossip and other behaviors that undermine team cohesion or workplace morale. The ability to work cooperatively, adapt to feedback, and contribute to a culture of mutual respect is essential to this role. Failure to maintain professional conduct or to work effectively with others may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance as an essential function of this position. Consistent attendance is critical to operational effectiveness, patient/client service, and team collaboration.
