UPMC Western Maryland is hiring a Specimen Processor to join our Laboratory in a flex full-time status. This role will require working both 1st and 2nd shifts (daylight and evening). There will be some weekend and holiday schedule requirements as well - every 3rd weekend and holiday. In this role, you will receive, sort, identify, process, and distribute specimens to all technical sections. You will also enter requisition information and patient results into the computer system, call statistical results, answer phones, code charge slips, train new employees, and perform related clerical duties. Candidates who possess previous CNA, MA, or lab experience are highly encouraged to apply!
