The Specimen Processing Supervisor at Quest Diagnostics in Lenexa, KS, is a full-time position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Specimen Processing department. The supervisor will also monitor workflow from logistics, manage inventory, and oversee the packing and shipping of specimens to other laboratories, ensuring adherence to IATA regulations. The position requires strong leadership skills to foster a participative work environment, encourage employee involvement, and effectively communicate essential information to the team. The supervisor will also be responsible for preparing month-end reports, investigating and resolving customer issues, and participating in various management and process improvement initiatives.
