About The Position

Overview Provides point of entry for all specimens coming into the laboratory. Supports technical areas of the laboratory. Labels, processes, and distributes patient specimens for testing; responsible for registration and test data entry. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment. Responsible for both internal and external customer inquiry and problem resolution. Frequent interaction with hospitals, nursing facilities, and physician office staff. Functions include inpatient, outpatient, and client specimen processing and may include coordination of mobile phlebotomy service. Assists Manager/Team Coordinator with daily operations, coordination of work, customer satisfaction, new employee training, and meeting regulatory requirements. Prioritizes the workload and resolves problems without the Manager/Team Coordinator. Education An Associate degree and 1 year lab experience OR high school education with 5 years of lab experience. Requirements

  • Lab Experience required
