About The Position

We are seeking a Specimen Management Associate to join IQVIA’s laboratory business at Valencia, CA. Shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM We hire passionate innovators who drive healthcare forward through thoughtful and inclusive collaboration. Support the quality control and processing of laboratory requisitions and shipments to ensure accurate specimen handling and documentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and arrive to work on time
• Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and workflow
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with specimen handling, requisition QC, and Teleform scanning systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow safety and regulatory procedures
• Effective communication and collaboration with team members and support staff

Responsibilities

• Collect requisitions from accessioners and sort by platform and temperature
• Scan requisitions using Teleform Remote Capture station under correct categories
• Perform 100% demographic QC on all requisitions
• Maintain scanner functionality and raise IT tickets for system issues
• Track daily counts and enter metrics accurately
• Respond to email correspondence and support LRMS ticket requests
• Open shipments, verify patient information forms, and escalate discrepancies
• Archive requisitions monthly and assist with inventory and workstation cleanup

• The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $24,400.00 - $50,900.00.
• The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
