Bring your laboratory experience to UW Health. We are seeking a Specimen Control and Receiving Tech - Clinical Labs to: Receive specimens and research kits into the laboratory, check for correct labeling, enter tests into Laboratory Information System, process specimens, and load them onto instruments or direct to appropriate work station, technologist, or storage area. Basic instrument maintenance (temperatures, monitoring reagents) and clerical duties (filing, mailing, faxing). Interact daily with pathologists, physicians, technologists, clinical staff, nursing unit personnel, and patients.
