The Specialty Territory Business Manager is responsible for driving strategic growth and account engagement within assigned specialty markets. This field-based role focuses on delivering compliant, clinically accurate product education to healthcare professionals while navigating access, reimbursement, and payer considerations to optimize patient access. The Specialty Territory Business Manager demonstrates strong market insight, business planning capabilities, and the ability to engage in high-level clinical and economic discussions with targeted specialties and key decision makers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2+ years of specialty pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare sales experience required
  • Demonstrated history of achieving sales objectives and driving prescription growth
  • Strong clinical selling skills with the ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively
  • Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
  • Some overnight travel may be required

  • Experience navigating managed care and reimbursement environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory-specific business plans to achieve performance objectives
  • Deliver compliant, evidence-based product presentations to physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and office personnel
  • Utilize data analytics and segmentation insights to tailor engagements and prioritize accounts
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with targeted specialty providers and key stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of disease state education, treatment pathways, payer dynamics, and reimbursement processes impacting product access
  • Educate healthcare professionals and office staff on appropriate product utilization and patient support resources
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to share field intelligence and identify growth opportunities
  • Maintain accurate territory documentation and CRM reporting
  • Attend and complete all required training programs and competency assessments within designated timeframes
