About The Position

Position Overview: The Surgical Technician will work directly with the surgeon and the circulating registered nurse. Creates and maintains a sterile field while assisting the surgeon in delivering effective surgical intervention. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate from surgical technologist school or one (1) year of acute care hospital experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Basic computer skills
SST II: Two (2) years surgery technician experience in the Operating Room environment
SST II: Scrub majority of service-lines independently
SST II: Ability to precept others and is recognized as a resource for other staff
