About The Position

The Style Consultant at Target is responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience through strong operational skills and engaging in-store presentations. This role focuses on ensuring product availability, maintaining a welcoming shopping environment, and supporting guests in their shopping journey across various departments including Apparel & Accessories, Home, and Baby. The position emphasizes teamwork, guest service, and the development of retail skills.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests.
• Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact.
• Gain knowledge from store tools to understand key metrics and sales goals.
• Ensure product availability by keeping the sales floor replenished and organized.
• Create an inviting shopping environment by executing visual standards and merchandising guides.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to provide personalized recommendations to guests.
• Acknowledge guests while completing workload with minimal disruption.
• Support changes to product assortment and maintain an inspiring area for guests.
• Be an expert and dedicated owner of assigned areas to ensure the sales floor is zoned and in stock.
• Accurately execute backroom fills and maintain organization of backroom aisles.
• Prioritize guest interaction and engagement while balancing tasks.
• Thank guests and remind them of future assistance availability.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies.
