The primary responsibility of the Specialty Sales Representative (SSR) is to represent the Grifols plasma portfolio with identified regional/local health systems, accounts, and customers related to disease awareness, product discussions, formulary coverage, pricing, and collaborating with key opinion leaders. The Immunology/Neurology/Acute SSR will focus on sales performance and engagement with prescribers, office decision makers, and account targets, utilizing a multi-channel strategy across all accounts in their assigned geography. The SSR will work cross-functionally to support demand for the portfolio and ensure appropriate communication to all stakeholders in their area, leveraging digital resources for customer engagement and technology for call planning, field communications, and sales data analysis.

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Grifols immunoglobulin product portfolio and disease state knowledge in neurology and immunology.
  • Lead in-depth discussions requiring advanced comprehension of product knowledge and treatment approaches.
  • Engage a broad range of audiences with various levels of expertise.
  • Communicate clinical messages relevant to each influencer in the decision process.
  • Demonstrate account-based selling skills and build relationships in institutions.
  • Educate and promote INA product portfolio to customers including Primary Care Physicians, Allergists, Neurologists, Pharmacists, and Nurses.
  • Establish credibility and trust with key targeted customers.
  • Gather and provide customer insights to Marketing teams for development of integrated solutions.
  • Ensure appropriate training and alignment to legal and compliance guidance.
  • BS/BA degree; Healthcare/Life Science and/or business/marketing degree preferred.
  • 4 years pharmaceutical or biological sales experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and market analysis presentations.
  • Ability to effectively utilize a laptop computer for planning and call activity.
  • Valid driver's license and meet the Qualifying Driver Criteria of the Grifols Fleet Program.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in collaborative selling environment.
  • Experience in across hospital selling, specialty pharmacy, and community physicians.
  • Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital platforms like Salesforce, Concur, Power BI.
  • Base salary range of $125,000 - $145,000 based on experience.
  • Eligibility to participate in the company's bonus program with a target bonus of $45,000.
  • Corporate provided vehicle for site locations within the assigned business territory.
