About The Position

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is a global biopharma company dedicated to developing life-changing medicines for serious diseases. The Specialty Sales Consultant Neuroscience is responsible for promoting Jazz Pharmaceuticals' products and managing business relationships with therapeutic specialists in the assigned territory. This role involves implementing marketing strategies to achieve sales goals and requires a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, particularly in sleep and central nervous system therapies.

Requirements

  • Current relationships with hospitals, sleep labs, neurologists, pulmonologists, and sleep specialists preferred.
  • Hospital/account-based experience and closed access account navigation preferred.
  • Sleep and Central Nervous System therapeutic sales experience preferred.
  • Specialty sales and/or orphan/rare disease therapeutic sales experience beneficial.
  • REMS/hub or central pharmacy experience helpful.
  • Buy and Bill experience preferred/helpful.
  • Four-year college/university degree or equivalent required.
  • Post-graduate business school study or training preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of pharmaceutical sales experience required.
  • At least two years of specialist sales experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of product(s) and applicable disease states desired.
  • Strong understanding of payer landscape and managed care criteria desired.
  • Experience in planning and executing launch strategies in live/virtual settings.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills required.
  • Self-motivation and ability to excel in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Educate physicians and healthcare professionals about Jazz Pharmaceuticals products.
  • Achieve individual sales goals and Key Performance Indicators.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings for the exchange of medical and product information.
  • Analyze business in the designated territory to understand prescribing and decision processes.
  • Utilize resources to educate and influence healthcare professionals and staff on products.
  • Help offices navigate the prescription flow from REMS forms to patient receipt.
  • Prepare and execute a business and territory tactical plan.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to meet the needs of physicians and patients.
  • Present a positive and professional image of Jazz Pharmaceuticals.
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform all activities within allocated budget.
