Requirements
- cpr or bls
- rda license or omsa
- willing to travel with paid mileage
- must have oral surgery experience
Responsibilities
- Assist specialty dentists chairside during advanced procedures (e.g., root canals, extractions, implants, periodontal treatments, orthodontic procedures)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms according to infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as permitted by state regulations
- Monitor patient comfort and provide post-operative instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, charting, and documentation
- Ensure all specialty equipment is properly maintained and functioning
- Manage clinical supplies and inventory specific to specialty procedures
- Support case setup, breakdown, and operatory turnover
- Educate patients on treatment plans, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care
- Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines at all times
