As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for answering incoming calls and completing outbound calls to/from patients, physicians and pharmacists while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximized productivity. Schedule: Monday – Saturday – 40 Hours per week with shifts between 8 AM – 7 PM – Hours may change based on business needs Location: (Temporary location due to move in August) 1945 South Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89104 (building is marked as ‘Culinary Pharmacy’); may need to support other locations within the Las Vegas Mero area when business requires Primary Responsibilities: Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information; fill & pick up Contact patients, pharmacists and doctor's offices to resolve claims issues Process prescriptions (from intake to order completion) Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Nevada
- 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
- Ability to always wear a mask during shift if not vaccinated for flu and COVID-19
- Ability to stand for the whole work shift
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Nice To Haves
- Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
