About The Position

Join a fast‑paced, mission‑driven specialty pharmacy team where your work directly supports patients and clinics nationwide. In this role, you will prepare orders containing temperature‑sensitive and specialty medications, ensuring each shipment is packaged accurately, handled safely, and delivered exactly as promised. You will collaborate closely with liaisons, pharmacy staff, and common carriers to maintain exceptional service and reliability. With endorsement from the pharmacy manager, you may also elect to participate in the pharmacy technician training program—an excellent opportunity to grow your career.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be state‑registered as a Pharmacy Technician Trainee or Pharmacy Technician.
  • If additional licensure is needed, applicants must commit to obtaining it within an agreed‑upon timeframe. Continued employment is contingent on meeting state requirements.
  • 0–12 months of experience welcomed.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ability to quickly learn additional software programs and extract relevant data.
  • Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and reliability.
  • High integrity, strong quality focus, and empathetic communication style.
  • Energetic, motivated team player with excellent listening and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive health information.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that each prescription order matches the medication listed on the delivery ticket.
  • Process prescriptions through the POS system and charge the appropriate payment method.
  • Package orders using the correct supplies based on medication requirements.
  • Enter shipping information with precision into UPS WorldShip and Dynamex.
  • Track shipments and confirm successful delivery.
  • Investigate delivery issues and communicate findings to the appropriate staff.
  • Review incomplete delivery slips and request clarification as needed.
  • Organize packages based on delivery type for efficient workflow.
  • Deliver clinic‑administered medications to other on‑site pharmacies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
