The Specialty Pharmacy Manager is accountable for all aspects of the specialty pharmacy operations. This position ensures the most rigorous safety standards when dispensing any medication to patients in accordance with applicable state and federal laws. Oversee the development and opening of Franciscan's first Specialty Pharmacy. The Manager maintains and expands programs; monitors and evaluates the quality of services provided; assures compliance with practice standards; audits the revenue cycle; and develops and achieves the department's goals. The Manager serves as the clinical pharmacy liaison between the specialty pharmacy, specialty clinics, and patients. Ensures all inventories purchased under the Federal 340B program are maintained and dispensed in accordance with the Federal 340B guidelines.
