The Specialty Pharmacy Manager of Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the pharmacy in accordance with federal and state regulations, as well as The Joint Commission, Medical Center, and departmental guidelines. This role involves performing and monitoring pharmacy services to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, including personnel and processes. The manager will oversee daily pharmacy operations, complete essential human resource functions associated with staff supervision and team leadership, and perform and monitor drug distribution procedures in compliance with applicable regulations. Additionally, the manager serves as the team leader to provide leadership in the delivery of pharmacy services, supports the educational mission through training of pharmacy residents, students, and pharmacy technician trainees, and enhances the quality of care delivery. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
