About The Position

Join our team as a Specialty Pharmacist focused on oral chemotherapy. You'll work closely with oncology providers, infusion center staff, and nursing to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated cancer care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D. degree (Doctor of Pharmacy).
• Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida -OR- Eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire/transfer.
• One year Pharmacist/intern experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products.
• Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills.

Nice To Haves

• Oncology pharmacy experience.
• Completion of PGY1 residency.

Responsibilities

• Manage and counsel patients on oral oncology medications.
• Collaborate with infusion/oncology pharmacists to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on medication adherence, side effects, and safe handling.
• Support compliance with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards.
• Participate in clinical reviews, care planning, and quality improvement.
