The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderatelyplex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performsputations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments. The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician 2 May contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into the system. Also supports Pharmacists and Patients by ensuring adnce to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs developed to optimize health oues which includes effectivemunication with patients and providers. Decisions are typically focus on interpretation of area/department policy and methods forpleting assignments. Works within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, andworks under minimal direction. Follows standard policies/practices that allow for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.
