As a specialty nurse in the Department of Surgery, you will have a direct impact on patient care as an expert in your field of Wound and Ostomy care. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate on program initiatives, participate in quality improvement and research activities, and provide evidence-based care and education to patients & their families.

  • Provide evidence-based care and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on program initiatives.
  • Participate in quality improvement and research activities.
  • BSN is required from an accredited school of nursing program.
  • 3-5 years of RN experience.
  • Active Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) or Compact State Registered Nursing license is required.
  • CPR/BLS certification required. AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted.
  • CWON Certification preferred.
