This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated Veterinary Specialist to begin transitioning your career into a leadership position establishing the direction and medical quality of the hospital while also continuing to practice veterinary medicine. You will receive support from the Regional Medical Director and other field team and Support Office associates. Why join the team 24/7 multi-specialty referral and emergency hospital Specialty services include surgery, internal medicine, neurology, oncology, cardiology and critical care Strong teaching program including rotating interns, specialty interns, and surgical residents Diagnostic capabilities: complete in-house laboratory, digital radiography, on-site spiral CT and MRI, color flow Doppler ultrasound, portable ultrasound unit, and an oxygen cage system Located approximately nine miles north of downtown Los Angeles The city is known for excellent schools, medical centers, retail shopping, and entertainment Outdoor adventures are abundant and the weather and climate are no match for hiking, cycling, water activities, beach and mountains. The annual salary range for this position is $250-$350k. Requirements
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent
- Licensure in good standing to practice in California
- Residency Trained or Diplomate Board Certification
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
