About The Position

Quanex is looking for a Specialty Machine Operator to join our team located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. In this role, you will set-up, operate, and verify quality of work which will consistently meet production standards and qualifications. This can include running equipment such as table saws, shapers, routers, drill machines and sanders to name a few. Requirements

  • High School or equivalent education
  • 6 months of related machine operating experience.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measuring instruments.
  • Ability to perform detailed work that requires high levels of concentration.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Set-Up, operate, and verify work on assigned machine.
  • Ability to train others as requested.
  • Accurately, thoroughly, and legibly completes all documentation related to the position.
  • Promotes teamwork by cooperating and supporting co-workers.
  • Follow all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines.
  • Monitors product to ensure that quality standards are being met.
  • Assists in other work areas when the workload permits or requires.
