About The Position

The Specialty Lending Servicer is responsible for commercial, participation/syndication, special asset loans, loan boarding, loan maintenance, loan payment processing, loan disbursements, loan balancing, and other related loan servicing duties. This position is responsible for administering and servicing syndicated and participated loan activity. The Specialty Lending Servicer is the expert in day-to-day functions within the department and must be flexible in day-to-day tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or 2 years of banking experience with 1-year experience working with commercial loan documents required.
General computer and typing experience.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, to include Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Work outside of regular business hours, as deemed necessary.
Ability to make difficult decisions and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

Participation and syndication loan servicing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide operational support within different loan areas.
Research and process rejected payments and handle payments received.
Process funding activities/reconciliations for all participated loans.
Responsible for pricing changes, advances, payments, and overall maintenance of the loans owned by the colleague.
Process payments, advances, and corrections for third party serviced loans.
Process various daily and monthly reports.
Conduct research to resolve loan requests and issues.
Responsible for boarding all facilities in relation to syndications and participations, including but not limited to, the commitments, notes, collateral, and guarantors ensuring loan packages meet regulatory requirements.
Perform maintenance and adjustments on complex interest.
Communicate with internal and external customers to provide resolution.
Responsible for verifying completeness of files with all necessary documents and signatures required.
Review loan and collateral documents and loan packages to ensure bank’s security interest and adherence to established policies and procedures.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures and appropriate regulatory issues as related to daily job functions including but not limited to: Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy Act; Fair Lending Act; Regulation E, etc.
Complete required compliance training and adhere to the Bank’s standard of conduct.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Participation in the bank’s High-Performance Rewards Connections program.
Make referrals to the Mortgage Center and Wealth Management.
