About The Position

Folsom Oral Surgery & Implant Center is seeking an experienced Specialty Office Manager to support their practice in Folsom, CA. This role involves partnering with the owner doctor to ensure the financial viability of the oral surgery practice. The Office Manager serves as the initial point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their experience. Key duties include providing office leadership, maintaining productive schedules, verifying patient insurance information, and collecting co-pays at checkout.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ specialty dental office experience required
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Patient advocate; empathetic, adaptable, and ethical
  • Ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, DSN, Open Dental, Eaglesoft or Dentrix

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years specialty dental office experience

Responsibilities

  • Model the ethics, values and culture of the office and Mosaic Dental Collective
  • Participate in the training of new team members
  • Implement company policies and procedures
  • Managing insurance claims; daily posting of insurance payments and accounts receivable quickly and accurately
  • Manage office finances, expenses, and dental support team
  • Ensure compliance with company policies as well as State, Federal, and other regulatory bodies
