About The Position

The Hilton Atlanta is seeking a Specialty Cook to join their culinary team! The hotel is located in Downtown Atlanta, near I-75, and within six blocks of attractions, including Centennial Olympic Park and the Georgia Aquarium. Perched atop the Hilton Atlanta with panoramic views of the city, Nikolai's Roof has served an award-winning, AAA four-diamond experience for more than 40 years. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of line cook experience in a fine dining restaurant. Shift Pattern: variable with typical shift times from 2:30pm-11pm, weekend/holiday availability required.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of line cook experience in a fine dining restaurant

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and set up food production station
  • Quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, seasonings, and all other food items prepared on the hot line
  • Work multiple kitchen functions including grill, sauté, and pantry stations on the line
  • Maintain quality of food prepared on the line
  • Create appealing plate designs and maintain the quality of presentation for all food items.
