As a Claims Specialty Adjuster II, you will efficiently and effectively manage assigned claims through timely investigation, evaluation, and negotiation, working under limited supervision using company best practices. This role involves making appropriate decisions regarding coverage, settlement, and liability within your authority. The Specialty Adjuster II handles a variety of complex claims including fire, theft, vandalism, specialty products, collision (1st and 3rd party), shop damage, and special investigations. Responsibilities include investigating coverage, evaluating and settling damages, resolving claims in a timely manner, taking recorded statements, reviewing policies, settling total losses, and writing Reservation of Rights and Coverage disclaimer letters when appropriate. The person in this role is expected to take ownership of their personal brand, maintain professionalism, and work effectively both individually and within a dynamic team.
