About The Position

Market of Choice is now hiring for a Specialty Cheese Department Manager. This position starts at $24.00/hour up to $28.00/hour, depending on experience. Are you passionate about food? Requirements

• Candidates will have an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of hand crafted and artisan cheeses from around the world
• superior customer service skills
• a strong sales ability including suggestive selling techniques
• Applicants should have open availability and be willing to work evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, train & evaluate employees
• Manage purchasing, merchandising & expense control
• Assisting customers in selection and recommendations
• Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of cheese
• Conduct events
• Organizing, stocking and facing of the department
• Monthly & Quarterly inventory
• Checking in deliveries/ logging of all invoices daily
• Enforce company policy & procedures
• General cleaning and maintenance of sales area
