About The Position

The Specialized Solutions Executive (SSE) consults with new and existing clients, alongside our Account Executive team members, to align their business outcomes, initiatives, challenges, and opportunities to our Specialized Solutions capabilities in a way that drives extended value for both parties. While the role is focused on Business Development, the approach is establishing consultant/trusted advisor status. The SSE will leverage discovery and business value assessment techniques to gain an understanding of the business outcomes our customers need to achieve. This approach will naturally uncover and drive service opportunities for specific Specialized Solutions such as: Digital Twin, Industrialized Construction, Integrated Facilities Modeling, Connected Data (PLM/PDM), Automation, and overall Data Strategy for our clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or a related field
  • Passion for strategic selling and consulting
  • Competitive, Top Producer mindset
  • Excellent Business Development skills
  • Critical thinking ability, willingness to learn
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consultative sales
  • Ability to present effectively at senior executive level
  • Proven ability to identify and close $500k and above opportunities
  • Understanding of how to gather and document C-Level requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
  • Willingness to travel 25% - 35%

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and secure new and expansion business opportunities related to Specialized Solutions
  • Lead new and existing customers through a consultative discovery process to document the current state against the recommended future state
  • Lead customer engagement to solve data and process strategy beyond a single point solution
  • Help drive convergence opportunities by consulting with AEC firms, EPCs, Modular construction, Fabrication, etc. on Best Practices and Connected Data strategies.
  • Effectively manage an opportunity pipeline to meet and exceed an established plan
  • Work with sales team members on Account segmentation
  • Support sales activities with sales strategy on complex projects - gain client commitment, build momentum and accelerate sales cycles
  • Work with KAE and SAE Sales Teams to up our game on consulting methods
  • Effectively advising clients through consultative discovery methods
  • Ensuring that opportunity forecasting is accurate (Value, Probability, Estimated Close)
  • Build strong relationships with account team members
  • Work with account team members to develop an enterprise account plan (Roadmap) that is specific to each client's business as complex projects arise
  • Assist sales in creating and participating in targeted business development campaigns
  • Lead expansion efforts to uncover additional Specialized service opportunities
