About The Position

The Specialized Human Resources Manager develops effective policies and programs in a specialized Human Resources unit and acts as a subject matter expert in the organizational effectiveness space. This role involves developing proposals and recommendations related to policies and practices within the specialized area, serving as a key contact, and managing complex HR issues and programs. The manager supports the integration and implementation of HR programs across client groups and works closely with assigned HR partners to ensure business needs are met. The position also includes monitoring and communicating the effectiveness of strategies, programs, and practices related to the area of expertise, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements, and leading a team of HR professionals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or progressive work experience.
  • 7+ years of related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of a specialized Human Resources function.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deal with all levels of management.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to establish relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop proposals and recommendations related to policies and practices within own specialized area.
  • Serve as key contact for HR policies and practices.
  • Manage complex issues and programs in day-to-day HR management.
  • Support integration and implementation of HR programs across client groups.
  • Work closely with HR partners to meet business needs.
  • Interpret data and assess risks associated with policies/programs.
  • Lead a team of Human Resources professionals.
  • Provide high-quality advice and support to business partners and HR.
  • Monitor and communicate effectiveness of strategies and programs.
  • Ensure programs meet business needs and comply with requirements.
  • Develop and manage a team through recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Provide input to the department's business plan and monitor results.
  • Lead action planning to address Employee survey results.
  • Analyze and interpret information to provide recommendations.
  • Ensure integration of other areas of expertise in program development.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and recommend actions.
