About The Position
Orlando Health Scripts Specialty Pharmacy serves patients with chronic and complex conditions who require specialty medications. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized support throughout each patient’s therapy journey. We focus on education, access, and continuity of care, offering free medication delivery and ongoing assistance to ensure patients have the resources they need at every step. The Specialty Pharmacy Technician plays a key role in processing specialty prescriptions, supporting patients, and maintaining compliance standards. This position is highly patient‑focused and involves frequent communication, documentation, and coordination to ensure timely medication delivery and issue resolution.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. (required)
- Current Florida Pharmacy Technician registration (required)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to patients to schedule specialty medication deliveries
- Handle inbound calls to address patient questions, needs, and issues
- Accurately document interactions and activities in pharmacy systems
- Support operational and distribution workflows
- Meet weekly and monthly productivity goals
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure quality patient care
