About The Position

The Workplace Violence Program Specialist serves as an integral part of the Workplace Violence Program by providing support services to Inspira staff and patients to prevent violence and injuries in the workplace. The Workplace Violence Specialist will provide program support to ensure that the Operational Advantage goals related to Security and Workplace Violence are met. The Workplace Violence Specialist will represent the WPV Program on committees, staff interactions/meetings, and during community-based activities. The Workplace Violence Program Specialist will ensure the ongoing implementation of the Wellemon language throughout the organization through classroom training, real-time training, and through other various communication efforts throughout the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, Education, or related Behavioral Sciences degree program required.
• Two years' experience in a hospital, social services program, teaching, or behavioral health/social work setting.
• Experience working with patients with substance use/co-occurring disorders and complex medical needs preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• IS 100, IS 200, IS 700 certifications required within first 6 months of hire.
• Welle Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• LBSW or LMSW, Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor preferred.
• IAHSS Basic Certification required within 6 months of hire.
