The position involves assisting in the daily operation of the Storeroom/Materials Management within a hospital network. The role requires attention to detail, specialized product and equipment knowledge, and a clinical understanding, along with increased interaction with the ERP system. Daily tasks include interacting with Purchasing for requisitions and order confirmations, setting up new inventory products, conducting root cause analysis on item discrepancies, issuing credits on returns, confirming backorders, and assisting with cycle counts completion and analysis. The position also serves as a backup for other Storeroom coverage as needed, requiring collaboration with all Storeroom Staff, Receiving, Purchasing, Nursing Units, and hospital staff.
