Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or similar
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or a related role, within a manufacturing environment
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools - SAP (PP & MM)
  • Availability for overnight travel > 25% of the time
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, data visualization software)

Responsibilities

  • Support Manager and carry out cross-functional activities for more than one functional area of supply chain management.
  • Ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement within the supply chain.
  • Provide inputs for formulation of the functional strategies and ensure their implementation across different regions and divisions.
  • Conduct SCM related research and analyses, support development of relevant (global) policies and budget planning.
  • Identify optimization areas for processes and systems at global and/or regional level, suggest improvement to better meet business requirements.
  • Carry out accountabilities assigned to meet targets related to cost, productivity, accuracy and timeline.
  • Evaluate supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
