About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Supply Chain Management Specialist to support RC-135 logistics operations for our location at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This position is responsible for overseeing asset control and reconciliation of aircraft and ground support systems. Essential Functions: Proper handling, securing, and shipping requirements for COMSEC and classified equipment per host base regulations. Verify equipment classification at point of turn-in and have thorough knowledge of DoD Classification forms. Receive, inspect, and process government property and accurately log with additional information such as ERRC Code, Shelf-Life Code, and Serial Number. Review Air Force asset management reports and Repair Cycle operations, monitor stock levels, requisition status/DUO status, and daily transactions, Due-In from Maintenance, and Special List of Equipment, and shipping preparations. Manage/control all stock and auditable records. Process paperwork required as part of any/all parts transactions and packaging requirements for shipping of various classification levels. Process routine & MICAP requisitions in support of home station and forward deployed aircraft, ground systems and mission kits. Must be worldwide deployable with the ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Ability to lift 50 lbs. up to 5% of the time. Ability to climb ladders daily. Able to prioritize work tasks based upon operational needs. Excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with four (4) years of prior experience with Logistics/Supply Management.
  • Graduate Degree with two (2) years of prior experience with Logistics/Supply Management.
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of eight (8) years of prior experience with Logistics/Supply Management.
  • Four (4) years of Supply Chain experience managing DoD/AF Property and Equipment.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance at the time of hire with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance within the first year of employment.
  • Must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Big Safari Inventory (BSI) system processing and inventory management experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of BSI operations and approval requirements.
  • Experience with decentralized warehouse facilities, operating sites, deployed kits, equipment, mod kits, and loaned assets assigned to Field Sites.
  • Ability to maintain Mission Support Kits and provide training for deployed technicians tasked with managing them.
  • Experience managing/processing obsolete assets.
