The position involves supporting the Manager and carrying out cross-functional activities for multiple areas of supply chain management. The role is focused on ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement within the supply chain, providing inputs for the formulation of functional strategies, and ensuring their implementation across different regions and divisions. Responsibilities also include conducting SCM-related research and analyses, supporting the development of relevant global policies and budget planning, identifying optimization areas for processes and systems, and evaluating supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

  • Support Manager and carry out cross-functional activities for more than one functional area of supply chain management.
  • Ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement within the supply chain.
  • Provide inputs for formulation of the functional strategies and ensure their implementation across different regions and divisions.
  • Conduct SCM related research and analyses, support development of relevant (global) policies and budget planning.
  • Identify optimization areas for processes and systems at global and/or regional level, suggest improvement to better meet business requirements.
  • Carry out accountabilities assigned to meet targets related to cost, productivity, accuracy and timeline.
  • Evaluate supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or similar.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or a related role, within a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools - SAP (PP & MM).
  • Availability for overnight travel > 25% of the time.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship.
  • Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD).
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, data visualization software).
