About The Position
Strategic Sourcing - Indirect contributes to Cardinal Health by managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value through innovation, best cost, and competitive advantages that benefit customers, suppliers, and patients. The role involves developing and executing strategic plans by leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. Competitive advantage is achieved through supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, supply chain optimization, and risk mitigation. The position is responsible for sourcing indirect goods and services to support business stakeholders and programs, performing analysis to select suppliers, and negotiating the best value for Cardinal Health. Additionally, it includes supplier relationship management and contract compliance management, ensuring maximization of financial deliverables and risk mitigation. The role may also involve working within various procurement systems to execute purchase orders and resolve technical issues as identified.
