About The Position

L3Harris is currently seeking a Specialist in Software Configuration Management to join our dynamic team. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining processes that ensure compliance with company standards and contractual obligations. The specialist will handle software configuration identification, manage software build releases, conduct configuration audits, and support engineering activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software, computer science, or a related technical field, or at least 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a Software Configuration Management role.
• TS/SCI CI Poly Clearance required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of software configuration management practices.
• Understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with continuous integration/development.
• Ability to create, archive, and maintain software builds and releases.
• Experience with version control and defect management tools such as IBM Rational (ClearQuest, ClearCase) and Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Git, Bitbucket) is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet important deadlines.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket) is beneficial.
• TS/SCI and CI Poly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control and traceability of software products.
• Manage the release process for software builds and updates.
• Organize software configuration control board meetings, including agenda setting and tracking of action items.
• Perform audits to ensure adherence to contract requirements.
• Generate and distribute software media for customer deliveries.
