About The Position

The Simulation & Technology Support Specialist at Northcentral Technical College (NTC) plays a crucial role in providing technical support to faculty and leadership within the Health Sciences and Community Services division. This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of simulation technology and equipment, assisting with lab setups, and supporting educational events. The Specialist collaborates with the Learning Manager and maintains the necessary resources to facilitate effective learning experiences for students.

Responsibilities

• Setup, breakdown, and maintain the simulation lab equipment.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials, manage inventories, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of spaces.
• Acquire, maintain, and distribute simulation materials and resources for faculty and students across health programs.
• Provide technology management, maintenance, and support for educational tools such as electronic health records, multimedia resources, and lab equipment.
• Maintain current knowledge of emerging healthcare simulation education technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to ongoing process improvements by developing recommendations for the use of new simulation tools and technology advancements.
