Summary of the Job: Full time Mon-Fri Noon-8PM Child Development Center The Security Officer is responsible for protecting FNBO corporate properties through active patrolling, monitoring, and controlled access management. This includes recognizing and reporting suspicious activity, checking in visitors, and maintaining continuous communication with the Security Operations Center (SOC), Shift Supervisor, and FP Management. Security Officers ensure a secure, professional, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, tenants, and vendors. About This Role: Key Responsibilities 1. Protection & Patrolling Provide physical security and protection to all employees, tenants, and visitors within FNBO corporate properties. Conduct regular patrols of internal areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential threats. Remain alert and responsive to any safety or security issues. 2. Access Control & Visitor Management Greet and check in all visitors, contractors, and vendors entering corporate properties. Verify identification and issue visitor badges according to company procedures. Maintain accurate visitor logs and ensure compliance with access policies. Operate visitor management systems and monitor security checkpoints. Provide clear directions and assistance to guests while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. 3. Monitoring & Systems Operation Maintain operational proficiency in: Pacom GMS & March Video Monitoring Systems Visitor Access Control Systems Microsoft Office Applications Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on any incidents or alerts. 4. Professional Conduct & Communication Exhibit professionalism, strong ethics, and a customer service mindset. Communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, visitors, and other stakeholders. Work collaboratively with fellow security personnel to ensure a cohesive and responsive team. Follow directives from the Shift Supervisor to support business units and day-to-day operations. The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Qualifications Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to pass and maintain various physical and verbal certifications Preferred Qualifications College Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Leadership, or related field Prior experience in military, law enforcement, security, or corrections CPR/First Aid Certification Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship. Compensation: Compensation range (base pay): $35,015.00-$52,522.00 This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level. Work Environment: It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
