Nationwide has an opportunity for an experienced electrical inspector to join our property/casualty loss control team. This position will be focused on inspecting commercial facilities to identify areas of electrical fire risk and managing the infrared thermal imaging inspection program for our farm and commercial agribusiness customers. Candidates with a work history in any of the following capacities could be a good fit for this position: Commercial Electrician, Infrared Thermographer, Commercial Building Electrical Inspection. This position will perform physical inspections at our policyholders' facilities, author reports, and issue risk improvement recommendations to positively impact loss experience. The position will also have ownership of our thermal imaging service with responsibility for promoting thermal imaging services with our customers and distribution partners, managing Nationwide’s thermal imaging program across the loss control department, training internal loss control staff on thermal imaging applications and basic electrical safety, training distribution partners on camera usage for hardware purchased through Nationwide Affinity Programs, and maintaining the company inventory of thermal imaging cameras. This is a work from home position which can be located anywhere in the lower 48 states. The role requires 50% nationwide travel.
