About The Position

Test/verification of Avionics and Mission equipment compatibility as installed on military aircraft Perform TEMPEST test at aircraft level to verify isolation of classified signals Utilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, and evaluate results Select test equipment based on analysis of specifications to support required testing Perform simulations and present design reviews to peer engineers Use test equipment to analyze/verify hardware designs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field, and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree or equivalent with 2 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Ability to travel.
• Work extended hours when necessary.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
• Knowledge and/or experience with Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, signal generators and Antenna theory.

Responsibilities

• RF/Microwave Device testing and evaluation including s-parameter, large signal load pull characterization as well as modulated signal measurements.
• Must have familiarity with common commercial RF design and analysis tools to design and analyze RF circuits and systems (i.e. ADS, HFSS, CST, MATLAB, etc.).
• Determine design approaches and parameters.
• Analyze electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate results.
