About The Position

This role is perfect for a tech-savvy professional eager to grow in a hybrid IT and engineering environment. As a Specialist, you'll support research teams by streamlining technology use, integrating scientific equipment, automating data flows, troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and contributing to hands-on innovation projects in our Makerspace. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of experience in enterprise application support, IT service desk, or similar OR High school diploma or associate degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technology liaison to research teams, offering guidance and support.
  • Assist with onboarding scientific equipment and enabling data flows.
  • Troubleshoot issues in collaboration with researchers and vendors.
  • Maintain documentation and knowledgebase articles.
  • Operate and maintain 3D printers (Stratasys PolyJet, Prusa FMD).
  • Support prototyping and automation efforts under guidance from senior team members.
