About The Position
The position is a full-time role that involves facilitating patient flow from the point of entry to their destination in a timely, accurate, and professional manner. The individual will be responsible for obtaining specific information to generate accurate financial and demographic records for patients, ensuring maximum reimbursement and optimal clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, interviewing patients for appropriate medical information, explaining charges and policies of the department or hospital, validating and entering charges into the appropriate systems, and collecting necessary payments. Additionally, the role involves answering incoming calls and directing patients and visitors appropriately.
