About The Position

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes, performing field claim analysis, and conducting regular quality audits. The ideal candidate should have experience in the automotive industry and a strong understanding of quality assurance procedures and standards. This role will work for MOBIS (Module) Savannah Plant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic Materials, Quality Management, or related field
  • Over 2 years of hands-on experience as a Quality Engineer in Automotive industry
  • Must be fluent in Korean and English, written and spoken languages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience with Hyundai / Kia / MOBIS
  • Ability to communicate in both English and Korean is a plus
  • Domestic / International travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the company's QMS and ensure the company remains compliant with IATF 16949 and required quality standards customer required.
  • Analyzes, evaluates, and presents information concerning factors such as production capabilities, quality issue trends, customer complaints and warranty claims/re-claims .
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize quality costs.
  • Suggests and debates alternative methods and procedures in solving problems and meeting changing customer's requirements.
  • Directly engage with customer and suppliers and HQ regarding warranty related items
  • Maintain database and all documents relating to Quality Inspection Reports (QIR) and find root causes and countermeasures for defective parts .
  • Cooperate with Headquarters in Korea on monthly Quality
  • Cooperate with Quality Control to analyze the assembly line processes and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborate with OEM on the returned part root cause analysis and other QA events.
  • Execute on-site supplier audits for quality improvement to assure validity and reliability of manufacturing and quality processes of the Suppliers.
  • Perform and support quality assurance and problem containment activities in accordance with quality management systems.
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions.
  • Comply with and promote safety in the workplace, to include attending safety meetings as well as conduct safety meetings if required .
