Position Summary:Review and approve warranty/campaign claims submitted by distributors. Handle reclaim warranty expense from all local suppliers, whose parts were cause for repair of a vehicle in the field, operating in an automotive manufacturing environment. Prepare executive reports summarizing approved claims. Serve as liaison between HMMA and distributors regarding field claim information.Essential Functions: Review submitted claims by distributors against policy and reimburse for approved claims. Analyze claim data and make necessary input/actions. Review all financial information and reconcile accordingly. Maintain HMMA Warranty Policy and Procedure manual and Warranty and Service agreements. Process warranty claims for chargeback to all local suppliers. Negotiate cost-sharing ratios and other related issues with suppliers. Discuss test/analysis results with suppliers and recommend necessary corrective actions to achieve optimum quality. Administer, coordinate, and comply with all Business Management System (BMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), and Safety Management System (SMS) requirements. Team Member may be required to handle hazardous wastes which may include identifying, inspecting, packaging, labelling, and moving waste in compliance with RCRA regulations. Relevant training will be provided if assigned these job duties. Meet all other requirements as assigned.
