About The Position

The Specialist Procurement position at Merck Sharp & Dohme involves category management and sourcing within the Marketing Procurement organization, specifically focusing on Media. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement or category management.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Associate Director and SSC on projects and strategic initiatives to drive procurement value proposition in Media.
• Enhance Supplier Performance Management to improve service delivery.
• Sustain existing and develop new cooperation frameworks across multiple stakeholder groups within the Marketing organization.
• Utilize the Sourcing Management Process to ensure supply assurance, quality, service, cost, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct RFIs, RFP/Qs, e-auctions, and quotation analysis.
