Responsibilities

  • Development and creation as well as implementation of planning concepts and projects including the corresponding design specifications or general conditions for the Press-Shop department.
  • Ensuring of defined measures and development of techniques or processes including analysis and evaluation of alternative solutions under consideration of economic standards.
  • Responsible for the planning of complete production processes, equipment and methods across all work sequences in the Press-Shop department and elaboration of these scopes into layout plans, considering the requirements of all departments (and social partners).
  • Creation of production plans for all work sequences according to the valid time finding procedures.
  • Ensuring and controlling the defined measures and coordinating the activities of the technical contractors.
  • Planning of equipment as well as determination of material supply / delivery.
  • Approval of technical specifications of press shop related equipment and clarification of technical issues with technical contractors as well as suppliers of Press-Shop equipment and press tools.
  • Definition of the individual parts, the ZSB's and products regarding process reliability.
  • Creation of layouts, specifications, time schedules and investment plans, following economic standards.
  • Preparation of offers, comparative analyses and purchase orders.
  • Realization of VFF, PVS, 0-series and production ramp-up to series operation (Align manufacturing, delivery of pre series parts).
  • Processing of planning orders, improvement proposals and change requests including ongoing revision.
  • Coordination of related departments, R&D and operators with focus on the implementation of suggestions for the product design according to production requirements and the identification of optimization measures.
  • Recognition and reduction of waste in the planned production processes.
  • Assumption of special tasks corresponding to the skills and duties of the job holder.
  • Steering/coordination of external service providers (worldwide).
  • Monitoring of die development process (from engineering, manufacturing till final qualification).
  • Scheduling and cost planning.
  • Define and prepare action plans with suppliers based on production issues.
  • Support of change management (interface R&D – supplier).
  • Evaluate suppliers' capacity and performance (also for suppliers' new press lines).

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional experience in Press Shop Planning.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related fields.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
