Location: 1550 Gezon Parkway SW - Wyoming, Michigan 49519 Position Summary: This role is Responsible to maintain and update the Pharmacy enterprise system and provide system support to Company pharmacy associates. Develop, update and/or maintain Pharmacy system training materials to ensure consistent training practices. Train new and/or existing Pharmacy associates as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (Required) or GED required. College degree or college course preferred.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Required).
  • Experience with EnterpriseRx Pharmacy Management required.
  • Five years retail pharmacy technician experience.
  • One year customer service, help desk or related support role preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules and pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service skills.
  • Good multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train new and existing personnel in the pharmacy system.
  • Proficient in MS Office Excel and Word.
  • Ability to travel between 5 and 10% to retail/pharmacy locations.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs to include weekends, evenings and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide user support for retail and corporate pharmacy associates on the Enterprise Pharmacy system.
  • Resolve issues and answer questions related to system operations, insurance billing and switch overrides.
  • Schedule and conduct training for new and/or existing users on the features and operation of the Pharmacy enterprise system.
  • Monitor, evaluate and record training activities and program effectiveness and identify areas of concern based on user issues/trends and develop training materials to address such.
  • Develop, update and/or maintain Pharmacy system training manuals, guides and course materials for consistent training practices.
  • Work with technical support to ensure training documents reflect current product features.
  • Maintain and update Pharmacy enterprise system changes and perform user acceptance testing for upgrades/changes.
  • Perform system updates such as product and supplier additions, product transfers, patient and prescriber profile updates, etc. as required.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
