About The Position

The Specialist, Pharma Support Services acts as the primary representative for assigned programs, ensuring effective referral management and collaboration with external partners. This role focuses on maintaining positive relationships with pharmaceutical companies, HUBs, and internal teams while meeting contracted service delivery metrics and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in health insurance, specialty pharmacy, patient registration, or a similar role with external facing responsibilities.
• Knowledge of insurances (Benefit Verifications/Prior Authorization) in specialized pharmacy therapies preferred.
• Detail-oriented with a strong customer service focus.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, problem solve, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• One year of specialty pharmacy, home infusions, home care, or health insurance experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with assigned program representatives to provide referral coordination updates.
• Collaborate with local/internal operational partners to implement and coordinate assigned referrals.
• Engage in daily communication with patients, providers, and assistance programs to support contract obligations and patient satisfaction.
• Follow up with stakeholders to ensure task completion and initiate data collection and entry.
• Participate in business review presentations and contractually agreed meetings as directed by clients.
• Assist in developing SOPs, workflows, and project plans for assigned programs.
