About The Position

Responsible for overseeing and executing the operational and administrative functions essential to the success of Universal Horror Unleashed. This role serves as the central operations hub, ensuring alignment, readiness, and consistent communication across all departments - including Guest Experience, Guest Communications, Merchandise, Security, Legal/Claims, Environmental Health & Safety, Digital & Technology, and third-party vendors. This position exercises independent judgment in managing key operational processes such as training coordination, scheduling, procurement, asset management, and compliance tracking to enhance efficiency and long-term planning. Serves as a trusted operational partner to leadership by streamlining cross-departmental coordination, maintaining business continuity, and advancing Universal's commitment to safety, operational excellence, and an exceptional team member experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive experience in operations, guest services, or facility coordination within hospitality, attractions, or entertainment environments; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Leads cross-departmental coordination between internal teams, third-party vendors, and corporate partners to align day-to-day operations with strategic business objectives. Exercises independent judgment to prioritize needs, resolve challenges, and ensure readiness across departments.
  • Oversees daily staffing logistics, credentialing, and access management for operations team members and third-party vendors (Security, Custodial, etc.). Monitors compliance with safety, finance, labor, and operational regulations. Proactively identifies and resolves operational challenges through collaboration and data-driven decision-making to ensure seamless guest and employee experiences.
  • Drives cost and process efficiency across merchandise operations, procurement, and IT asset management. Oversees inventory integrity, SKU management, cycle counts, and reconciliations while partnering with Finance and Sourcing to maintain budget accountability and audit readiness.
  • Serves as the primary liaison with Digital & Technology and other UDX departments to manage IT equipment, software, and operational systems. Ensures accurate tracking, deployment, and maintenance of company-issued technology assets in alignment with Universal policies and security standards.
  • Compiles, analyzes, and maintains operational data to support reporting and process improvement initiatives. Oversees documentation workflows for IT, merchandise, procurement, and service requests. Collaborates with Finance, Sourcing, and operational teams to ensure timely processing and compliance. Partners with Environmental Health and Safety on audit readiness and quality assurance.
  • Provides comprehensive operational support by preparing, distributing, and updating departmental communications, presentations, SOPs, and briefing materials while managing equipment inventories, product sourcing, and procurement requests. Supports Operations leadership in maintaining accurate regulatory, Environmental, Health & Safety, and compliance training records and documentation. Assists with scheduling and data management in UKG to maintain operational accuracy and workforce alignment.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
